Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit and Research Trust
Based in Glasgow Royal Infirmary, this is one of the largest reconstructive surgery, training and research units in Europe. It has assisted the IRPS by training Ghanaian doctors, by providing medical equipment, and through the voluntary services of visiting consultants, physiotherapists and nurses.

Golden Jubilee Hospital, Clydebank
This hospital has contributed vitally to the success of the IRPS Project by providing volunteer consultant anaesthetists, teaching and training for Africans and decommissioned medical equipment.

Scottish Executive
In 2006 the International Development Fund granted
the IRPS a tremendous award of £45,000 per annum for 3 years. This permitted long-term planning to be confidently undertaken and encouraged further donations for other sponsors. This has put us well on the way to achieving the goal of creating West Africs's first enduring, self-sufficient plastic surgery service by 2011.

Helen Camilleri
Helen initiated and organised an annual ball in memory of her Husband, Ivan, one of Canniesburn Hospital's youngest consultant plastic surgeons, who tragically died at the age of 39. The proceeds are in aid of the Ivan Camilleri Scholarship designed to provide specialist training for African surgeons in Scotland.
